62ed1e0 created the issue

when trying to SFTP to my webservers to upload some new content, I get the following error:

     I/O Error: Connection failed
     Cannot read full block, EOF reached.

this error came abouyt after upgrading to v4.2.1, was working great on v3.x.x
What do I need to do to get operational again?
