Upon launching CyberDuck, a translate process is also launched, yet the CyberDuck binary is being classified as universal. I have verified that it is CyberDuck launching the process, by killing translate and then relaunching CyberDuck. Each time, translate is spawned. Is it something to do with the Growl integration ( I have read that some Growl plugins are not universal )?

I am running on a MacBook with 10.4.7.

I don't have Intel hardware here. Please can someone else double check this (Maybe without a Growl installation as suggested in the ticket).
