I couldn't launch Cyberduck on my biG5 neither. I tried under X.4.3 and today under X.4.4 I tried to restart. I removed preferences... As a workaround disable Bonjour discovery. Open a Terminal.app window and enter

It seems this error is caused when using an old custom built version of the libjdns. Cyberduck 2.5.4 also included a custom version which might be the cause. |
My last idea, for now, is you have your users run the following command

i too am having the same problem, on loading up Cyberduck it crashes, i have tried the following "workaround" and it still crashes

Occurs if multiple versions of libjdns_sd.jnilib are available in the classpath. Remove any old version of libjdns_sd.jnilib installed by third party in /Library Reported to bugreport.apple.com |
Just updated to 2.5.3. Running MacOS 10.4.3. Running java version "1.5.0_06" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_06-93) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_06-55, mixed mode, sharing). Did not restart machine after Cyberduck upgrade. The app crashes on startup, crash dump at ~/Library/Logs/Java follows:
