Maybe I haven't found that feature yet. But it would be great if we could set the permissions for all included subfolders of a selected folder with a certain permission (like 755) without affecting files. And it would be great if we could change the permissions of all files within a folder (and all subfolders) with a certain permission (like 644) without affecting the subfolder themselves.

In 6688611. Changing permissions recursively will

  • not apply execute permissions to files that do not have an executable bit already set.
  • not remove execute permissions for folders that have an executable bit set.
