Using FileZilla I discovered that this programs saves all the entered passwords on the local computer, in an xml file. Not too handy when somebody gets in.

So, does Cyberduck save the login data 'encrypted' somewhere?
Or if not, how is this data saved and protected?

Will need to improve our documentation in General → Connection → Use Keychain.

Cyberduck is using the Windows Data Protection API (DPAPI) to encrypt and protect your credentials.
