I downloaded the Mac Zip from your site and test drove CyberDuck.
I liked it and as a software developer myself I understand the need for $$ to keep good stuff happening.
So, I dutifully went to the App store and purchased the app, but as you probably already know it doesn't work with Mavericks.
However the zipped version does work on Mavericks.

Can't tell what happened with the AppStore version but I'm sure I'll get the charge. Hopefully you can update the app store with the right version soon so I can update it form there.

Also, it seems that the zipped version doesn't recognize the App Store receipt?

Duplicate for #7557. We have identified the cause to be any missing
network interface available. The validation fails if no en0 network
interface is available. Users can request a donation key at
feedback@cyberduck.ch who want to switch to the free version available
from the website. The 4.4.1 update is still pending expedited
review by Apple for the Mac App Store.
