Description (last modified by Kevin)
To Whom It May Concern,
Hello. I just reported an issue I was having regarding a Keychain Alert Message. I have another issue that started at the same time (a few months ago). Since I've been using Cyberduck 4.4.3 or shortly after, whenever I try to log in to any of my FTP accounts I've been getting the message: "Unsecured FTP connection" then under that it says: "Password will be sent in plaintext." Then I'm given the options: Disconnect, Continue I always choose "Continue" though I don't feel this is safe and I'd like to clear up this security issue. Am I having this issue simply because I'm using FTP connections and not SFTP? Or is this a different issue? Is there a way to make my connections secure? I found this related issue: https://trac.cyberduck.io/wiki/help/en/howto/ftp but in my message I'm not given the option to switch to FTP-SSL.
Also, I noticed this ticket: https://trac.cyberduck.io/ticket/7549
However my question would be, is there any way to make my FTP connection secure?
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
Many thanks, Kevin

Please contact your web hosting service provider for assistance to find out if they offer either TLS secured connections or SFTP. If the TLS option is not given in the alert, we didn't find the server advertise this feature.
