Cannot read container configuration error message for S3 provider not supporting versioning #7841

I am using a S3 compatible cloud storage and I am able to create buckets and even upload objects. However, I am not able to list the objects. A window pops up saying "Cannot read container configuration". So I am only able to list the buckets.

I am not able neither to download the bucket having the a similar window poping up saying that cannot read container configuration.
