Support already exists in CyberDuck to choose when files in S3 move to Glacier.
Ideally CyberDuck would implement direct Glacier support for large, long-term backups.

The asynchroneous Glacier API is not suitable to be made available in a file browser. You can achieve the same by choosing a lifecycle policy on a S3 bucket with a 1 day period to move objects to Glacier.
