a69ad56 created the issue

Attempting to upload files to our Crush FTP. Certain files are failing to upload and popping up a "broken pipe" error.

Thought it might be a file-naming problem, due to these particular filenames being PP234.VictoryPerf.1A.C.TIF and similar, but a change in filename makes no difference.

files are 70mb or so apiece

Please contact your web hosting service provider for assistance. This may be a quota issue.

we host the FTP server and Fetch has no problem uploading the same files.

Please post the transcript from the log drawer (⌘-L) of the Transfers window and the transcript from Fetch.

ok so this is interesting.

  • OS 10.6.8 machine

    • Fetch 4.0.3: upload works
    • Cyberduck 4.5: upload works

  • OS 10.8.5 machine

    • Fetch 5.7.1: upload FAILS (connection/login successful. Upload hangs until infinity)
    • Cyberduck 4.5: upload FAILS (connection/login successful. Upload hangs until infinity)

so it's a 10.8 thing?
