Need to update to the latest snapshot build. Preferences does not have "Update" tab at all. (4.5.1, 14915 on Mac)

You are running the version purchased from the Mac App Store which can only be updated using Software Update of OS X. You will have to manually install the latest build from (https://update.cyberduck.io/nightly/). Version 4.5.2 is currently waiting for review by Apple to be released to the Mac App Store.
