Dear Sir or Madam,
when I want to connect, I get the warning that my password is sent in plain text: Unsecured FTP connection warning but if I try to FTP-SSL version the connection process does not seem to work?

Then your hosting provider does not support secured connections. Please contact your web hosting service provider for assistance.
