I changed my sever password recently but forgot to update my saved password in cyberduck immediately. Now I can never connect to this server using cyberduck. The error message I got was: "Exhausted available authentication method. Please contact your web hosting service provider for assistance."

However, everything looks fine on the server side, because I can still ssh and sftp to the same sever using the same computer through terminal. I think the problem lies on cyberduck. I tried other SFTP software and they can all assess the server without problem.

Could you fix this? Many thanks!

I am having this problem. I have updated to version Cyberduck 4.6.4 is currently the newest version available.

I keep getting the error "Exhausted available authentication methods. Please contact your web hosting service provider for assistance."

I have removed the application at least three times and re-downloaded. Turned off my computer, restarted, etc., but am still getting the error message. I at first tried to log in a few times with the wrong information and it seems to have permanently blocked me.

I can access the server via terminal, and I can access the server using cyberduck with someone elses computer so there is something wrong with my individual computer. I was able to use it previously.

It seems that cyberduck is remembering my old password and I have to manually type in the new one to get it to log in. Usually I have to hit log in twice, even after entering the correct password, before it will allow me to login

Choosing Save to Keychain will override the previous saved password if you are running 4.6.2 or later.
