The function to create symbolic links is great. But when moving a symbolic links to other locations than the target item's folder, it doesn't update the (relative/absolute?) link target. It would be great if this could be fixed or if there would be a possibility to create symbolic outside their target's folder.

As of 34f73ba you can set the hidden propertiessftp.symlink.absolute and ftp.symlink.absolute to true to create absolute symbolic links for SFTP and FTP respectively.
