Not sure how official the conventions are, but if not taken otherwise these suffix mappings would be nice to have:

  • .mpd -> application/dash+xml (manifests)
  • .m4s -> video/mp4 (segments, may also be audio/mp4, but the brunt is usually video)

Especially rewriting headers for hundreds of segments can become quite a pain.

And sorry if there was a duplicate bug report - I tried twice to submit and the tracker errored out, so I gave up; but it seems at least one got through.
