Hi,

I'm trying to upload the install folder of Piwik (an open source equivalent google analytics) to my sever (a french host called gandhi, on a simple hosting plan) and I can't complete the transfers.

I have set Cyberduck to upload on my sftp and it generally works fine (I have only used it once before to upload wordpress) but this time it upload 99% of the 30mo folder and leaves 2 files behind and a corrupt one (smaller than it should be). I know this from attempting to install Piwik, because prior to installation it scans the server to check everything is in order. On Cyberduck front I can only see "transfer incomplete".

I have read on this forum that cyberduck is by default in binary mode, which is what pewit recommends.
I have no idea why this doesn't work. Do you?

I have also attempted to upload the zip file and unzip it once on the server but I was told
'Interopterability failure
fatal: bad argument. Please contact your web hosting service provider for assistance.'
So I emailed my host and I'm waiting for their feedback.

Could you please suggest how I should go about uploading these files?

PS: should I provide you guys with some sort of logs in order to make it easier to spot the problem?

Please include the log for the failed files. You can find the transcript from the log drawer of the Transfers window. Choose ⌘-L on Mac or right-click the toolbar from the Transfers window and choose Log on Windows.
