Cyberduck Mountain Duck CLI

#9531 closed defect (fixed)

S3 - SSE puts for non-file objects (aka "folders")

Reported by: outside92129 Owned by: dkocher
Priority: normal Milestone: 5.0
Component: s3 Version: 4.9.3
Severity: normal Keywords: s3 sse folder policy
Cc: Architecture:

We can put files (including "folder" names in the key) using SSE but cannot create just a "folder". We believe this is because the cyberduck file transfers can use SSE, but the single operation to "put the folder" isn't using SSE. We have a policy on the folder that denies access to non-SSE writes. Can we get the "folder create option" to use sse (if the sse option is selected in cyberduck)?

p.s. we had the exact same issue with s3browser and it was fixed it in a newer version.
