I strongly suspect these files exist in your local disk you have chosen to upload from. |
Thanks for the reply. Let's suppose for the moment they are in my local drive. Then why are they writing to the root of my S3 bucket, whereas 100% of my writes are going to a sub directory of root? That logic doesn't hold up, right? Did you look at both screen shots submitted? One shows the specific text found in the file. These are current files that are being created at the time of Cyberduck transferring other files to Amazon. I appreciate this seems odd, but I'm struggling to understand: 1. How these files are being created and where for that matter. Thanks again for your further assistance. |

Hey there,
I have a strange one that I am hoping you can assist. I am transferring all of my local backups to S3 using Cyberduck. As you might imaging, it's terabytes of data. I am getting strange files showing in Cyberduck (see screenshot). These appear to be log files or similar. See the second screenshot and you can see the details found within one of the files. I blurred some data out as I am not 100% sure what it is :)
I currently have over 45,000 of these items and they appear to keep getting generated. Is this something Cyberduck is producing? Is there some way I can suppress these? In the meantime, I am not sure how to (easily) delete these items as scrolling is painfully slow due to the large count. Any tips there would also be appreciated.
