Cyberduck Mountain Duck CLI

#9861 closed defect (worksforme)

Application does not open

Reported by: r-mac Owned by: yla
Priority: normal Milestone: 6.2
Component: core Version: 5.3.5
Severity: major Keywords: does not start, crashes, will not launch
Cc: Architecture: Intel
Platform: Windows 10

Description

using installer Cyberduck-Installer-5.3.9.23624 and the version before. Behavior: I click to launch Cyberduck. Nothing ever happens. No windows launch, nothing. I don't know where to look for logs to see if anything is crashing on startup. Tried troubleshooting for compatibility. Tried running as administrator. Uninstalled and tried running install as administrator. Don't know what else to do.

Would be willing to try one of those full uninstalls where we sweep the registry and delete keys - just need to know which keys to delete.

Cyberduck-Installer-5.2.0.21317 is the last known version to work for me.

Can you search for any output related to Cyberduck in the System Event Viewer

  • Click the Start button.
  • Click Control Panel
  • Click System and Maintenance
  • Click Administrative Tools
  • Double-click Event Viewer
