The "Use Keychain" preference description says: "Search for passwords in the Keychain. Save passwords upon successful login in the Keychain by default". I have this option turned off. Despite that, when connecting to a new FTP bookmark the "save password" checkbox is by default checked. That should be unchecked by default if the use Keychain preference is disabled. Additionally, when I connect to an FTP bookmark where the "save password" box was checked, I am automatically logged in with no password prompt. The preference indicates the Keychain should not be searched for passwords when that option is turned off.
