If you have

installed, notifications for various events can be configured to be displayed using the system wide notification system.

Events

The following is a list of notification events sent from Cyberduck that can be configured in the Growl System Preferences pane.

  • Download complete
  • Upload complete
  • Synchronization complete
  • Connection opened
  • Connection failed
  • Download failed
  • Upload failed
  • Transfer queued
  • Bonjour

Email notifications

You can achieve this with the MailMe display style e.g. configured for the Upload Complete notification.

  • Open the Growl Preference Pane in System Preferences.
  • Select the MailMe display style in Display Options tab.
  • Type your email address in the Recipient field.
  • Choose Configure... for Cyberduck from the Applications tab.
  • Select the Upload Complete notification from the list of

notifications.

  • Select MailMe as the non-default display style for this

notification sent.

Sound notifications

See Applications → Cyberduck → Notifications → Play Sound in the Growl System Preferences pane.

Preferences

Disable Growl notifications

To disable all or particular notifications, open System Preferences → Growl → Applications → Cyberduck and choose Configure... → Notifications.

Hidden Preference

To completely disable Growl support within Cyberduck, use the hidden configuration option defaults write ch.sudo.cyberduck growl.enable false.
