With your credentials and tenant, the HP Cloud Identity Service checks to see whether you have activated the HP Cloud Object Storage service. If so, it returns an authentication token and the endpoints to all regions of the HP Cloud Object Storage service that you are activated for. You find the connection details in the [https://manage.hpcloud.com/account/api_keys console] under ''API Keys''.

      * Username: `Project/Tenant ID:Access Key`. The Tenant ID is the ''Project ID'' displayed in your [https://account.hpcloud.com/account/api_keys account].
      * Password: `Secret Key`

=== Legacy authentication ===

Alternatively you can connect using `1.0` legacy authentication with the following settings:
      * Protocol: `Swift (OpenStack Object Storage)`
      * Server: `region-a.geo-1.identity.hpcloudsvc.com` or `region-b.geo-1.identity.hpcloudsvc.com`
      * Port: `35357 `
      * Username: `Tenant ID:Account Username`
      * Password: `[Console Password]`

The username is: `Tenant ID:Account Username`. That is, your Tenant ID, followed by a colon (“:”), followed by your login username. In the current version of HP Cloud, the Tenant ID is also known as the Project ID and can be found near the top of your ''API Keys'' page.

=== Regions ===

Both containers from ''region-a.geo-1'' and ''region-b.geo-1.'' are displayed in the browser. You can create a new top level container using ''File → New Folder... (⌘-N)''. You can select from regions ''region-a.geo-1'' and ''region-b.geo-1.''

== CDN Distribution ==
