Triton's Object Storage, Joyent's converged analytics solution, is an open-source, HTTP-based object store that allows users to run arbitrary compute on data at rest (i.e., without copying data out of the object store). It provides a familiar Unix-like filesystem that's familiar for developers and enables features not available in other object storage solutions.

== Authentication ==
Users will need to supply a private key which has been registered in the [https://my.joyent.com/main/#!/account Triton portal]. Subusers are supported but may need to configure an initial Path in their bookmark in order to avoid ''Forbidden'' errors upon initial connection.

== Search ==
Recursive Search will skip the `reports` and `jobs` folders when performed from the users's home folder (e.g. `/user`). Navigating into these folders will allow you to search within them.
