To connect to a Sharepoint server, choose WebDAV for the connection type.

Authentication Methods

Basic Authentication

Basic Authentication should only be used when using secured connection over TLS (HTTPS).

NTLM Authentication

If you need to set the domain and workstation, you can do so using a hidden configuration option.

defaults write ch.sudo.cyberduck webdav.ntlm.workstation MYWORKSTATION
defaults write ch.sudo.cyberduck webdav.ntlm.domain MYDOMAIN

Kerberos Authentication

Kerberos authentication is not supported. See #133.

Forms Based Authentication

Forms Based Authentication is not supported.

Trusted Identity Provider Authentication

Trusted Identity Providers are not supported.

Configuration in SharePoint Admin

You may review your SharePoint authentication methods via SharePoint Central Administration → Security → Specify authentication providers → Select zone.

Sharepoint Online

Unless you have setup Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Sharepoint Online exclusively needs Claims-Based Authentication based on WS-Federation which Cyberduck currently does not support. With ADFS configured you can authenticate through NTLM which Cyberduck supports.

Sharepoint on Office 365

OneDrive API

Support for the Microsoft OneDrive API available in Sharepoint Server 2016 is scheduled for version 6.0.
